adCockpit v4.0 (Davos) released
Version 4.0 of the adCockpit application, code name Davos, has been released today.
Most of the work in this new release went under the hood, preparing the application for the next wave of data and visualizations. In addition, there have been several enhancements and improvements:
- For the pre-defined data ranges, we’ve added “yesterday”, which automatically creates a comparison with the same day in the previous week.
- For users with a more long-term view of their business, we’ve added settings that enable them to skip the data for the current day and the current month from the charts. Since that data was by definition incomplete for the day and the month, it could be seen as distracting from seeing the big picture.
- When using the application for the first time on any given day, the values and data points on the main dashboard will be cached, so that the second and all following views during the day will be faster. We’ve been able to cut down the time it takes to draw the entire page from about 4 seconds to less than 0.7 seconds.
- We’ve added the ability to specify extra lines of HTML code for white-labeling of the application, enabling us to define icons and other resources that can be used by phones and tablets.
